MYTEAM!

Last weekend kitorang sempat pergi joli. Tengok MI-III. Daripada hari tu nak tgk akhirnya dpt gak tgk. Best gak (it’s not because of Tom Cruise, coz hubby pun kate best…hehehe). Mmg kategori action movie la. Pelik jugak sebab apa ada orang kata tak best. Lain orang lain citarasa kot.

Pastu tgk Over The Hedge. Yg nie mmg hilarious and recommended utk menghiburkan hati. Sesuai utk semua peringkat umur🙂.

Pastu tengok X-Men III plak. Okay gak laa ceritanya. Frust sikit, maybe sebab expectation tinggi. Tapi kira orait gak laa sebagai satu penutup. (X-Men II tu lagik best aahh rasanya).

Kitorang akhiri hujung minggu dengan pergi tgk MyTeam @ Stadium Bkt Jalil depan rumah. Itu yg aku nak ceritakan hari ini…hihi…

Aku memula sokong MyTeam tahap biasa je la. Pastu tetiba lak 2-3 hari sebelum tu FAM buat kelakar. Buat kenyataan yang MyTeam nie pasukan mee segera la, kacang la, senang nak diratah, Shabby tak layak jadi coach, etc.

Namanya pun friendly match, tak boleh ke jadikan ia satu persaingan sihat instead of bersifat negatif. Kalau rasa tak layak, tak payah laa sign MOU dulu dulu tu. MyTeam boleh sign dgn pasukan lain.

Ada segelintir org Malaysia nie mmg camtu la. Bila ada org nak buat sesuatu yg baru, mesti kena kutuk. Very pessimistic and condescending…

Anyway, disebabkan FAM itulah penyokong2 Myteam jadik fanatik (termasuk aku). Tak pasal pasal pasukan Malaysia kena boo dgn penyokong yg hampir 50,000 orang. Sian diorang, sape suruh boss diorang tu berlagak sgt.

Ini kali pertama sebenarnya aku tgk pasukan Malaysia main live depan mata. Terkejut tgk diorang main. Aku tanya hubby, “mmg macam nie ke diorang main?” Memang tak best. Patutlah selalu kalah dgn negara lain. Lawan dgn Myteam pun susah sangat nak dpt gol. Nak kata kasik can, takkan lah sampai minit ke-45 kasik can.

Akhirnya dpt gak la pasukan Malaysia score 2 gol sbb dpt free kick. Memang penyokong puas hati.

Harapnya lepas nie ada kelab kelab Malaysia yang berminat nak tgk talent bebudak nie sbb mmg diorang terer.

Waktu penyampaian medal, Shabby dpt tepukan paling gemuruh. Sebab walaupun atas kertas dia tak layak jadik coach, dia telah sumbangkan sesuatu kepada masyarakat Malaysia. Dia (dan krew Myteam yg lain) berikan bebudak tu yg kebanyakannya dtg dari kampung satu pengalaman yg tak ternilai. Siap dapat main di Old Trafford. Their dreams really come true. Dan apa yg FAM sumbangkan yek?

tiring week…

I was so busy last week. My office hour was dragged until around 10pm for the whole week. Finally I’ve submitted the paper this morhing.

So sorry to my husband coz coincentally last week was his birthday. I tried my best to wish and celebrate with him, but I feel like it ain’t enough.

I plan to payback this week (as it is salary day this week). We are going to watch Over the Hedge, Mission Impossible III and X-Men III.

Thanks to my hubby who has been very understanding the whole time…and thanks to Stitch who massage my tired eyes;

2006…2006

2006 is a great year. It is a World Cup year. Undeniably, an event that will affect many people across the world (not so much the Americans, perhaps).

am a football chick. A red devil to be exact (and for the hundredth times, this is never about beckham. Cantona, maybe). I was a die-hard fan in high school. I saved money to buy MUFC magazines. We were scolded by wardens coz of the noise in the late nights. Good old days…

Few years passed by. I missed a lot of matches while in States. ESPN and other sports channels there never show a single football show. You have to subscribe a special channel to watch matches. But there’s none extra highlights whatsoever.

As a red devil, it is very ironic that I am married to a Reds fan. A very die hard Reds fan. Well, love is blind I guess 😉.

However, since we got married, I started to watch more football. I even watch Reds matches. Sincerely, I do feel a little weird. Hahaha…But luckily as a lady, Gerrard is so cute and is at his best performance, so at least I can watch him 🙂.

As EPL is the only league I truly followed, it is normal for me to root for England whenever there’s such competition back then. Again through my love relationship, I’ve started to learn the existence of other countries’ teams as well. This was also the starting point for me to support Germany during the last World Cup.

Four years has passed by. The winner last round, Brazil has become stronger throughout these years. Some people say they are unbeatable.

So instead of asking the normal World Cup question “Which team you support?” it changes to “Which team you support besides Brazil this year?”

Hubby definitely rooting for Argentina. I am still not sure, especially when Rooney is still injured. Still have 24 days to think through.

What about you, what’s your choice?
