RM82, totally worth it!

The concert was GREAT!!!!!!

It started with lauryn hill. She has the most amazing voice! Mcm stadium putra tu tak cukup besar je nak menampung suara dia (very much different time aku tgk AF2 dulu, suara penyanyi tenggelam). Pakai simple jer, blouse + skirt jeans. Tapi suara power…!!!

Innuendo was ok, Sheila Majid was wonderful. No wonder she’s international. She easily got audience’s attention with her 3 songs. Pastu diorang reramai nyanyi lagu Iklhas tapi jauh, together with Dayang & Anuar Zain. Terkejut aku bila Anuar muncul, kuat gila audience menjerit. Ramai rupanya peminat dia…

Next was Boyz to Men. Suara diorang power giler! Mmg best. Then Wyclef Jean’s turn. I have no clue who this guy is. I only read on the newspaper earlier that he and lauryn used to be in a same group. Fugees if I’m not mistaken. But he’s an absolute entertainer. Sampai pakcik2 pun turut berdiri sambil lambaikan hanphone (in substitute of lighter).

Bila dia nyanyi lagu Jump Around, teringat saat saat tgk college football😉. ( our ‘Badger’ tradition in football games to jump around to this song at the end of the 3rd quarter). Then he together with lauryn hill sing some songs, including Killing me softly…power abis vocal dia…

Masa turn BSB, I have a mixed feelings. This was my die-hard, favorite band during my teen. I have all collections of their albums. But I declared myself no longer a fan 2-3 years ago… (it was when all the boyband died).

But when they started singing, I can’t help myself from screaming! They choreographed their dance neatly, great voices, AND…… they are still as gorgeous as before! Only much much more when you see it alive!!! (Carter was no longer the cute boy, he’s sooo tough!!!). Wished my roommate Atik was there 😉.

They sang 7-8 songs, I’m falling in love with them all over again. They also convinced me to buy their coming album ~ release this June. (they sang one of the new song for the 1st time, best!!).

The last one was B.E.P. (which actually the main reason why I was there). They are of coz driving everyone crazy! Habis pukul 3 pagi, nasib baik driver lrt masih sedia menanti…

All in all, it was really great b’coz I underestimated all these ‘mat salleh’ singers. I thought since they were not paid a single penny to perform, they will only spend a few minutes on the stage.

But I was wrong… Each of them sang more than 5 songs. All were so well-prepared (semua bawak band masing2) and enthusiastically entertaining. B.E.P siap reka lagu lagik khas utk M’sia.

Plus 4 tahun aku dkt US, takde plak dpt tgk byk singers macam nie perform dlm satu konsert with just RM82. Thanx Hitz.fm! ( wished my honey was there too that nite, meshti lagikk beshhhh)…

Thanx Hitz.fm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx to Hitz.fm & Nany, I managed to get the Force Of Nature concert ticket!!!!

As I mentioned earlier, we can’t get the RM82 ticket. It was sold out macam pisang goreng panas (since that was the cheapest & so limited seat!!!).

But yesterday nany said Hitz.fm is giving away the RM350 ticket with the price of RM82! They’re giving to the first 500 people. Apa lagik…terus cepat2 sms.

Tapi kena pergi claim tiket dkt Bukit Jalil. Mana lah aku boley keluar ofis tetiba macam tu. So aku mintak tolong nany pergi. Hehehe…and we got the tickets!!! Terasa untung pulak sbb bayar harga murah, tapi duduk bahagian depan. Hehehe… tima kasih byk byk hitz.fm!!!!

I don’t care if B.E.P is only going to sing one song. If they are, then the highest probability will be Where is the love (takkan nyanyi lagu let’s get retarded utk tsunami ek…). Other artists pun best gak.

Other than rawking the Stadium Putra, this weekend I have to go and see how’s the dewan for the wedding and pay the deposit, also pay the tailor, maybe buying some more of the hantaran, etc, etc..(money flowing out…never flowing in anymore..ugh…).

Okie….enjoy the F1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am the Force of Nature!!!! *wink wink

SePeT

Weekend sudah berlalu. Pergi Matta Fair. Beli ground package 5 hari 4 malam ke Bali utk 2 orang dgn harga berpatutan. Beli juga Sony Cybershot utk dibawa ke Bali nanti, agar dpt kami merakam gambar2 kenangan. (teringat kamera ku yg dicilok mamat kulit hitam di London dulu..isk isk…).

Tgk SePeT dengan Atik. Waaaa…cerita dia mmg best…amat direkomen utk tgk. Buat mereka yg beranggapan cerita berkualiti sukar utk difahami (heavy), certainly not the case with SePeT. Ia berkualiti + amat menghiburkan. Mmg ada maksud2 tersirat, tapi kalau tak perasan yg tersirat pun takpe…sure akan tergelak jugak laa dgn lawak2 sempoi nya. Mmg ia satu cerita yg jelas menggambarkan lifestyle org Malaysia (takde skrip skema atau skrip yg tidak logik).

Satu yg aku bangga, ramai betul orang cina dlm wayang hari tu. (bkn senang nak tarik diorang tgk cerita melayu). ‘Abang’ ku yg tgk dkt ipoh pun kate ramai cina yg tengok. Pastu yg best diorang pun gelak tak ingat punya la…

I love Amani & the chinese guy’s acting. Ida Nerina, and others mmg laa dah professional kan… and the ending… ughhhhh…..terseksa rasanya…Adakah akan ada sambungan???

*Buat mereka yg naik motor di Bandar Ipoh, berhati hati ~ jgn menyelit nyelit di celah celah kenderaan…
** Lepas nie kita dating di Chicken King yer 😉.

exercise..exercise…

Some Malaysians still do not open their eyes on exercise as a healthy way of life…Whenever they heard that I go to gym, their normal response is “nak buat apa kurus lagik”. Rasanya dah kali ke 50 kot aku dapat komen sedemikian…

I keep on explaining that I go to gym so that I’m fit. I feel tired + grumpy if I don’t exercise, and to keep my body in shape is a side factor. But they kind of don’t believe me. So I’ve decided that rather than babbling about health and other benefit of exercise, I will now only smile whenever people shoot me that kind of question.

In U.S, no one ever bother whenever I’m in gym. Plus, there are a lot of other good-figure ladies in the gym. They surely are there to stay healthy (or to get away from homework pressure!).

Although compared to 10 years ago, now we are more into exercise, ( more gyms exist – which full of people, or look at the klcc park – a lot of people jogging), but they are still a few ignorants out there…which I’m tired of…

Enjoy the weekend! Don’t push people around if you are going to the PWTC Matta Fair

P.S: I wanted to watch let’s get retarded ~ Black Eye Peas…but tickets are sold out…sedey sedey…

extra money for black eye peas?

Thanx for those who wished me. I will give out the invitation card once the day is getting near ( at this moment, the card is not even ready yet…).

Last week I was really overwhelmed. Really close to shed a tear. Went to pejabat agama kajang for application procedure. It is particularly hard for me since I don’t have car (and is not allowed to drive my mom’s car), and my father is not staying with us. So to gather me, my father – the wali, & 2 saksi were a hassle. But now everything is settled. Alhamdulilah… We get the date & time that we want. Everything is booked. Bak kata jurunikah, “tunggu pengantin lelaki datang je;)”.

Juru make-up pun dah book. Yg nie pun satu masalah utk aku, sebabnya aku mmg tak pakai make-up. Maka susah betul nak pilih, tak tau mana yg bagus. Tensen jugak lah. Luckily my fiancé was there accompanying me. Thanks honey.

We decided to go Bali for our honeymoon. So weekend hari tu aku dan si dia sempat usha brochure yg ada. Maybe nanti nak pergi MATTA FAIR, mana tau ada deal yg lebih best. Tiket free, dpt time lucky draw. So sekarang nak carik accommodation & ground package jer la…

Hmm….rasa nak tgk Sepet & Million Dollar Baby, tapi belum ada kesempatan… tunggu anak sedara aku abis exam laa kot.

Lagik satu…Black Eye Peas coming to town!! Should I go? Ughhh…money is the constraint right now…menderma sambil berhibur? Huhuhu…..
