A good stress reducer…

Good news:
~Dah habis ganti puasa 🙂.
~Got A in my child development paper.
~Done some shopping!!!
~BADGERS won…againts Ohio State!!! Yeahhh😉

Bad news:
~Tak sempat study habis utk midterm child development tadik. Lebey 20 soalan aku tibai…hehe..sbb aku amik option pass/fail, harap harapnya pass la..huhuhu…
~Inverse Pareto masuk exam actuary last week!!! Agghh..

I’m taking this one credit class, Counseling Psychology. Saje saje ambik utk tambahkan A, nak cantikkan sket cgpa dah semester akhir nie. Sediakan payung sebelum hujan beb😉. Kelas nie cuma 10 minggu je, seminggu sekali. Kalau datang setiap minggu, gerenti dapat A.

Anyway, last week cikgu tu ajar pasal stress management. Bincanglah pasal what causes stress, stress reducer, & effect of stress. Profesor tu cakap benda benda tu berbeza bagi setiap orang. Sesetengah org kalau stress tak boleh tidur, sesetengah orang tu terus tidur (mcm aku rasanya).

Bebudak pompuan byk ckp stress reducer diorang shopping, ice-cream, chocolate, tgk tv. Huhuhu… Bebudak lelaki pulak cakap smoking, alcohol, sports, gym.

Cikgu tu cakap sport memang antara stress reducer yg bagus sbb ada movement, tapi kekadang tak berapa bagus since ada elemen “competition”. Yerlah..ingat nak reduce stress pergi main bola. Tgk tgk kalah, boleh jadik lagik stress kan.

 

Anyway, my point is…cikgu tu cakap a good stress reducer perlu ada ciri ciri berikut:-

1.Require some physical movement.
2.Require mind concentration.
3.Boleh dibuat di mana mana sahaja (cth dia kasik kat Wisconsin nie tak boley nak hiking selalu, so hiking kiranya tak sesuai laaa).
4.Xtvt tu diulang berulang kali.

Dia cakap combination physical movement dgn concentration tu penting utk reduce tekanan darah, bla bla (tak ingat sangat lah aper bender lagik dia bebel…). Then dia kata salah satu stress reducer yg bagus abad ini ialah YOGA. Huhuhu….

Time kelas yoga aku pun cikgu yoga tu asyik sebut concetration tu penting, kalau takat gerak gerak aje buat ‘pose’, objektifnya takkan tercapai.

 

Dan point aku pulak…isn’t it obvious what is the most powerful stress reducer here…SOLAT. It’s as easy as that. Semua requirement cikgu aku tu sebut dipenuhi. Time dia mula2 sebut tu aku tak perasan sgt, lepas tu baru perasan…betapa sempurnanya Islam itu…

 Interestingly, kalau dalam solat tak khusyuk ( no concentration), mmg boleh rasa lah objektifnya tak tercapai. Tapi kalau betul betul khusyuk, ketenangan dlm hati tu priceless kan. Bukan takat reduce, hilang terus stress…huhuhu….

 So pengajarannya utk aku, bila stress ape kata cuba solat sunat instead of tidur atau makan cekelat… hehehe…
