Satu keistimewaan, bkn kelemahan

Ello..rasa mcm lama tak update..saje bagi penghormatan dkt kekasih hati:-)

Rabu nie paper actuarial, seriously I’m not in the mood to study!!! Aku susah betul nak stady kalau exam dah abis (exam axtuary ni bkn under U, amik voluntarily). Mood aku sekarang ni nak mkn aiskrem, nak gayut, nak shopping, nak tido. Muahahahaha…

Here is something I got last week during Mother’s Day:

10 BEST COUNTRIES TO BE A MOTHER:

1. Sweden
2. Denmark
3. Norway
4. Switzerland
5. Finland
6.
Canada
7. The Netherlands
8. Australia
9. Austria
10. United Kingdom

I’m not sure about other countries, but what I heard that country like Switzerland really take good care of the mothers.

Contohnya yang aku dengar, ibu ibu yg bersalin boleh dapat cuti tanpa gaji selama 2 tahun. Then another year optional for either parent to really take care of their child. These are some stuff that U.S feminists are still fighting for.

Diorang tak puas hati coz cuti bersalin cuma 2-3 bulan, but then at the same time WHO and the government promoting kebaikan susu ibu. How are we supposed to manage that??? Tak masuk lagi kelebihan sentuhan ibu kepada anak anak.

I’m not a big feminist, tapi dalam hal ni aku pun sokong apa kerajaan Switzerland tu buat. Sbb aku banyak dgr keluh kesah perasaan ibu yg terpaksa memilih antara the newborn & career.

Ramai org tak trust nak hantar anak kecik2 dkt nursery, ataupun ambil orang gaji. Plus, the affection btwn mother and the baby is really important at that time. I believe, most moms in the world want to take care of their own baby. Tapi tak mahu lah jadi suri rumah sepanjang masa. Cuma waktu anak dia kecil je.

At least dkt US, some ppl can resign dan cari kerja balik bila anak anak dah besar. Sbb tu lah cikgu cikgu tadika aku kebanyakannya sebaya dgn mak aku:) Tapi aku rasa dkt Malaysia kalau dah resign bertahun tahun mcm susah nak cari kerja balik. Betul ke?

Lepas tu aku dgr juga cerita ada syarikat tak mahu ambil perempuan, sbb nanti ada maternity leave. Then lepas tu ibu ibu ambil byk cuti bila anak dah lahir. So diorang malas nak tolerate, especially kerja mcm engineers. The way they said it macam peranan ibu itu satu masalah. I think that is so bias, like you have a bad history record or sth…

Mmg lah apa yg diorang ckp tu satu kenyataan. Perempuan cuti lama. Kalau 6 anak, fuhhh:-). Lps tu kalau dah kerja tu mcm akak akulah.. Suka blk awal, tak boleh stay sampai malam dkt ofis. (nak ambik anak dkt sekolah, nak masak utk hubby, etc.) But they should accomodate it rather than terus tolak tepi. Sbb bukannya pilihan kita nak jadi perempuan. Bukan mcm pencuri yg mmg memilih utk mencuri.

Melahirkan anak itu satu keistimewaan, bukan kelemahan. Plus, dgn cara itu sajalah kita dapat menyambung generasi akan datang. So, we should give full moral support for that.

Sebab aku rasa dgn sistem sekarang kekadang tu menghalang perempuan berkerjaya nak fokus dlm pembesaran anak sepenuhnya. Agaknya ada yg teringin nak anak ramai tetapi terpaksa kurangkan sbb situasi macam ni. Kalau husband kaya tak kisahlah. Tapi kalau tak…terpaksalah buat pilihan. Rela tak rela je hantar anak dekat nursery.

Hmm..kalau suatu hari nanti si Shahrizat tu pinda sistem maternity leave dkt Malaysia nie, aku akan respek gila lah:-)
